கொள்கை அளவில் அன்பிருந்தால் அது பயனளிக்காது. அதைச் செயலில் வெளிப்படுத்து................ஆசைக்கு கண்ணில்லை. அது மனிதனை நரகத்தில் தள்ளி விடும். அன்பில் கரைந்து விடு. அது உன்னை சொர்க்கத்தில் சேர்த்து விடும்.

Do only good things, speak soft and sweet, never injure or insult another, serve those in need and keep the image of God always before your mind's eye. Implant God firmly in your heart. Then, you will see God everywhere, even in the objective world! For, everything in this Universe is truly Divine (Sarvam Brahmamayam)!

If you are patient and calm, I shall grant you joy without fail. Do not yield to despair. Even the infant lotus buds will bloom, in their own good time. - Baba

* உன்னைப் பற்றி எண்ணாத நேரத்தில் மட்டுமே, நன்மையையும், உண்மையான வாழ்க்கையையும் நீ அனுபவிக்கிறாய்.

* அறிவுத் தேடலை நிறுத்தி விடாதே. ஓயாமல் தொழில் செய்து கொண்டிரு. நீ எது செய்தாலும் அது நன்மையாகவே முடியும்.

* உண்மையை உயிராக மதியுங்கள். உண்மையான வாக்கே அருள்வாக்கு என்று சொல்லப்படும்.

கடவுளை அடைவது எப்படி?

* நல்ல எண்ணங்களை வளருங்கள்.நல்ல வார்த்தைகளை பேசுங்கள். பிறருக்கு உதவுங்கள். கடவுளை அடையலாம்.

* ஆசைக்கு ஓர் உச்ச வரம்பை வைத்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள். வாழ்க்யில் மலர்ச்சியும், முன்னேற்றமும் தானாக வரும்

* அன்பெனும் உன்னத உணர்வு ஆன்மிக உணர்வை அளிக்கும். ஒற்றுமையே உயர்வை கொடுக்கும்.

* அன்பில் பிறக்கும் பொறுப்புணர்வால் வாழ்வில் தெய்வீகம் உண்டாகும்.

At times, we are discouraged with what we see around and earnestly feel that sincere devotion, peace and truth should grow in the world. What should we do? Bhagawan lovingly guides us today.

Rama is the Indweller in every body. He is the Atma-Rama, the Source of Bliss in every individual. He is the very embodiment of dharma, of all the codes of morality that hold mankind together in love and unity. The Ramayana teaches two lessons: the value of detachment and the need to become aware of the Divine in every being. Faith in God and detachment from objective pursuits are the keys for human liberation. Give up sense objects, and you gain Rama. Sita gave up the luxuries of Ayodhya, so she could be with Rama, in the period of “exile”. When she cast longing eyes on the golden deer and craved for it, she lost the presence of Rama. Renunciation leads to joy; attachment brings about grief. Be in the world, but not of it. Make your heart pure and strong, contemplating the grandeur of the Ramayana. Be established in the faith that Rama is the Reality of your existence.

What is the characteristic of our mind? How should we master it? Bhagawan lovingly reminds us to take advantage of the various sadhanas we do regularly.

The antics of the mind are very surprising! Without any distinct form or shape it assumes the shape and form of the thing it is involved in. It is its nature to wander from wish to wish and one desire to another. Therefore it causes loss and grief, elation and depression. Its effects are both positive and negative. Hence understand the characteristics of the mind, and learn ways to master it for your ultimate benefit. The mind is prone to gather experiences and store them in the memory. It does not know the art of giving up. As a consequence, grief, anxiety and misery continue simmering in it. Most of you engage in bhajan, worship and meditation. Ask yourself: Does your heart pour forth or vibrate in sadhana sincerely? Do you endeavor to sublimate small sadhana through higher and nobler purpose? If not, these activities will remain as mere physical exercises! If you teach your mind sacrifice (tyaga), you can become spiritually serene!

Why can some experience Divinity and others can’t? What is required for us to experience the Omnipresent Divine? Bhagawan lovingly elucidates with memorable examples.

The mansion called life must be built on strong foundations. The pursuit of artha (wealth) and kama (desire) for objects and welfare, must be regulated by Dharma (righteousness). Dharma fosters those who foster it (Dharmo rakshati rakshitah). The strongest foundation is ever-present faith in God. Some may ask, "If God is Almighty, why is He not patent?" Well, God reveals Himself only to those who yearn for an answer, not to those who ask with impudence or ignorance. God is patent only in every transparent heart that is not clouded by egoism or attachment. The string of the rosary is patent only in the crystal beads, not on the coral or rudraksha beads, though it runs through these latter too. All the thousands of individuals here before Me now are so many thousand flowers, strung on that one thread, Brahman (Divinity). In Brahman, you all find unity, the unity you have missed, because you were engrossed in your own separateness.

Why must we begin today and practice leading a divine life assiduously? Bhagawan lovingly explains to us today!

No one is prepared to make the effort for spiritual victory. If you demand the job of a District Collector to be given to you straightaway, how can it be done? There are certain qualifications required - scholarship, efficiency, talent, experience, etc. The flower must become the fruit, the fruit must ripen and the ripeness expresses itself as sweetness. So everything takes its own time! Hence from today, resolve to engage only in virtuous deeds, good thoughts and good company. Do not waste a single moment in idle gossip or vain boasting or demeaning recreations.

உள்ளன்புடன் இரு! .....அருள்வாக்கு.....என்றும் எல்லோர்க்கும் என் இனிய வணக்கங்கள் சகோ தோழமை களே........

* பிறர் மதிக்க வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக பக்தியில் ஈடுபடாதே. உள்ளன்புடன் வழிபாட்டில் ஈடுபடு.

* காட்டில் ஒளிந்தாலும் கூட சம்சார பந்தம் மனிதனை விட்டு எளிதில் நீங்காது.

* இன்பமும் துன்பமும் இரவு பகல் போன்றது. அது ஒன்றைப் பின்பற்றி இன்னொன்று தொடர்ந்து கொண்டேயிருக்கும்.

* பணத்திற்கு அடிமையாகி கருமியாகி விடாதே. தர்ம சிந்தனையோடு ஏழை எளியவருக்கு உதவி செய்.

* உண்மை எது உண்மையற்றது எது என்பதை கண்டறிவதே உண்மையான விவேகம்.

What are the most important qualities all of us must cultivate assiduously if we consider ourselves as devotees? Bhagawan lovingly reminds us today.

You spend a great deal of time to acquire some material object or other. How much time do you devote to thoughts of God? You shed tears profusely to experience a pleasure related to the senses. Do you shed a single tear for experiencing God? How then can you realise God? Today Bhakthi (devotion) has become a mass-produced manufactured product. But are the devotees practicing what they profess? Without practice, can the fruits of devotion be realised? The 12th Canto of the Bhagavad Gita clearly describes the qualities of a true devotee.

The primary virtue is absence of hatred towards any living thing: Cultivate Universal Love (Advesta-sarva-bhutanam). Avoid causing harm to others. Do not speak ill of any one. Give up pride and egoism. Cultivate purity of thought, speech and action. Spirituality is not separate from other aspects of life. Spirituality permeates everything.
