* யாரிடமும் அதிகம் பேச வேண்டாம். பத்து வார்த்தை ஒருவர் பேசினால் பதிலுக்கு ஒரு வார்த்தை பேசினால் போதும்.

* நமக்கு மனிதப்பிறவி கிடைத்தது மகத்தான வாய்ப்பு. இதை உணர்ந்தவர்களே பயனுள்ள பணிகளில் ஈடுபடுகின்றனர்.

* கடவுளைத் தரிசிக்க உலகில் பலரும் விருப்பப்படலாம். ஆனால் தகுதி உள்ளவருக்கு மட்டுமே அது கிடைக்கிறது.

* பிறர் துன்பம் கண்டு மகிழ்வது பெரும்பாவம். பிறர் இன்பம் கண்டு மகிழ்வது பெரும்புண்ணியம்.

* பெருந்தன்மையுடன் பிறருக்கு உதவி செய்யுங்கள். வாழ்வின் நெருக்கடி நேரத்திலும் விவேகமாக நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

மனமே கடவுளின் இருப்பிடம்...................

* மனமே கடவுளின் இருப்பிடம். அதை தூய்மையாக வைத்திருப்பது கடமை.

* பிறர் நம்மை துன்பப்படுத்தும் போது அதைப் பொறுப்பது மனிதத்தன்மை. மறந்து விடுவது தெய்வத்தன்மை.

* நல்ல சக்தியும், புத்தியும் கடவுள் நமக்கு அளித்திருக்கிறார். அதன் மூலம் நாம் நற்செயல்களில் மட்டுமே ஈடுபட வேண்டும்.

* வாழ்வில் ஒழுக்கமும், நேர்மையும் இருந்து விட்டால் செய்யும் செயல் அனைத்திலும் அழகும், கலையுணர்வும் வந்து விடும்.

Why is it important to keep good company? And how do we make best use of such good company? Bhagawan explains today with a simple analogy.

If you can understand the strength and the power of good company and use it in the best manner possible, there is every chance of you doing great things. Good people can be recognised by their gentle thought, word and deed. Here is a small example: if a piece of black charcoal is kept in the proximity of a bright red fire, the area along which this black charcoal is in contact with the bright fire, will also begin to glow. The black charcoal is your ignorance. The bright red fire is the good company. By the two coming together, only the portion of your ignorance that is exposed to the effects of good company will be dispelled. But, if you employ sadhana as a fan to increase the area of contact, then the entire region of ignorance will become bright. It is, thus, not enough if you are merely in good company. You should also develop the sadhana of love, and become dear to good people.

Why should we firmly believe in the presence of the Lord, within us and in everyone around us? Let us listen to Bhagawan in His own nectarous words today.

Take a lump of salt and drop it in water. The salt dissolves soon and disappears, though we know it exists in every drop. The lump cannot be found, but we know its presence by tasting the water. Similarly, God is present everywhere, though invisible. But, He can be known by the taste. You are the taste, the Divine droplet. This is the Truth - ‘That thou Art’. A tree has a trunk covered with bark and myriad roots to feed it and hold it firm. It has branches spreading in all directions, tapering into twigs. It has millions of leaves which breathe and borrow energy from the Sun. It fulfills itself by attracting bees to fertilise the flowers into seeds. All this variety of colour, fragrance, taste, smell and softness, of strength, toughness and tenderness has emanated from one single seed. Similarly, all creation emanated from God. This is the reality. Be firm in that faith.

கடவுள் விரும்பும் மலர்.........................

* வாழ்க்கையை கடவுளுக்குச் செய்யும் பணியாக கருதுங்கள். இதனால், நல்லொழுக்கமும், நற்பண்பும் உண்டாகும்.
* தர்மத்தைப் பற்றி பேசுவதை காட்டிலும், செயலில் வெளிப்படுத்துவதே சிறந்தது.
* கடவுள் விரும்பும் மலர் இதயம் தான். அது பக்தி என்னும் நறுமணத்தைப் பரப்பிக் கொண்டிருக்கட்டும்.
* தாய் மண்ணை நேசித்து வாழுங்கள். எத்தகைய தியாகத்தையும் அதற்காக செய்ய முன் வர வேண்டும்.
* பிரார்த்தனை என்பது உதட்டளவில் இல்லாமல் உள்ளத்தில் இருந்து கனிவுடன் வர வேண்டும்.

Desire and bondage to the objects desired and the plans to secure them  are attributes of the individualised selves, not of the Self or Atma resident in the body. The sense of me and mine and the emotions of lust and anger originate in the body-mind complex. Only when this complex is conquered and outgrown can true virtue emanate and manifest. The sense of ‘doer’ and ‘enjoyer’, of ‘agentship’, might appear to affect the Atma, but they are not part of the genuine nature of the Atma. Things get mirrored and produce images, but the mirror is not tarnished or even affected thereby. It remains as clear as it was. So too, a virtuous person might be subjected to some contaminating activities due to a backlog of acts in previous lives, but they cannot obstruct the person’s present nature or activities. The virtuous person has these genuine, basic attributes: purity, serenity, joy and is ever cheerful.

The purpose of ‘living’ is to achieve “living in God”. Everyone is entitled to that consecration and consummation. - Baba
