பொன்னை விட உயர்ந்தது...அருள்வாக்கு.

எல்லோர்க்கும் அன்பான வணக்கம்.....................

* காலம் பொன்னை விட உயர்ந்தது. இழந்த பொன்னைக் கூட சம்பாதித்து விடலாம். காலத்தை மீண்டும் பெற முடியாது.

* போதும் என்ற மனம் படைத்தவனே செல்வந்தன். அவனது வாழ்வில் மகிழ்ச்சி பெருகும்.

* ஆயிரம் நூல்களைப் படிப்பதை விட, ஒரு நல்ல நுாலைப் பின்பற்றி நடப்பது மேலானது.

* கடிவாளம் இல்லாத குதிரை தறி கெட்டு ஓடுவது போல, கட்டுப்பாடு இல்லாத மனம் அழிவுப்பாதையில் செல்லும்.

வாழ்வு மேம்பட வழி.......................

* நேர்மை, உண்மை, பக்தி, ஒழுக்கம், மனத்துாய்மை ஆகிய நற்குணங்களால் வாழ்க்கைத் தரம் மேம்படும்.

* நல்ல உணவுகளால் உடல் பலம் பெறுவது போல நல்லவர்களின் நட்பால் மன நலம் காக்கப்படும்.

* தேவையற்ற பொருட்களை அவசியமானது என்று எண்ணுவது தற்கால வாழ்க்கை முறையாக உள்ளது.

* இருப்பதைக் கொண்டு திருப்தியாக வாழ்ந்தால் நிம்மதிக்கும், மகிழ்ச்சிக்கும் குறைவிருக்காது.

* தானத்தில் சிறந்தது அன்னதானம். இதன் மூலம் மட்டுமே ஒரு மனிதனைத் திருப்திப்படுத்த முடியும்.

உயிருக்கும் உயிர் கடவுள்

* ரோஜாவிடமிருந்து பூக்களைத்தான் பறிக்க வேண்டுமே ஒழிய, அதிலுள்ள முள்ளைச் சீவ வேண்டியதில்லை. அதுபோல, படிக்கும் சாஸ்திரங்களில் இருந்து சாரத்தை மட்டும் தான் எடுத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டுமே தவிர, சாரமில்லாத வேண்டாத விஷயங்களைத் தள்ளிவிட வேண்டும்.

* கடலில் ஒரு அலை முடிந்ததும் மற்றொரு அலை கிளம்பிக் கொண்டே இருக்கும். அதுபோல குதர்க்கபுத்தி கொண்டவர்களின் உள்ளத்தில் பலவிதமான சந்தேகங்கள் கிளம்பியபடியே இருக்கும். அதை தீர்த்து வைப்பது என்பது சமுத்திரத்தை கட்டுப்படுத்துவது போலத்தான்.

* கடிகாரம் ஓடிக்கொண்டே இருப்பது போலத் தோன்றினாலும், அதை சாவி கொடுத்து இயக்கியவன் ஒருவன் இருக்கிறான் அல்லவா? அதுபோல, உலகவாழ்க்கை இயற்கையாகவே நடப்பது போல கண்ணுக்குத் தோன்றினாலும், அதை இயக்குவிப்பவன் ஒருவன் இருக்கிறான். அவனையே பகவான் என்று அழைக்கிறோம்.

* உயிருக்கும் உயிராக இருப்பவர் கடவுள். உடலுக்குள் இருக்கும் உயிரையே யாராலும் காணமுடியவில்லை. அப்படியிருக்க உயிரின் உயிரை இவ்வுலகில் அறியவல்லவர் தான் யார்?

* ஈரமண்ணில் செடி கொடிகள் வளரும். காய்ந்த மண்ணில் செடி பட்டுவிடும். அதுபோல, இரக்கம் கொண்ட மிருதுவான இதயத்தில்தான் பக்தி வளரும். கடினமான இதயத்தில் பக்திக்கு இடமே இருப்பதில்லை.

What is missing in spiritual aspirants of today that has led to much suffering in the world at large? Bhagawan explains, so that we may correct ourselves.

Those who yearn to establish themselves in contemplation of Brahman (Brahma-nishta) must seek solitude, practise meditation and repetition of the name at specified times, and acquire one-pointedness through these spiritual exercises. They must always be anxious to do deeds that will bring about the welfare of all beings. They must always be engaged in performing work without any concern for the fruit thereof. It is only when such people come upon the Earth that all suffering will cease. This is the mark of the Golden Age (Kritha Yuga). If ‘great ones’ and those in authority are thus engaged in the service of humanity and in promoting the welfare of the world, the thieves of passion, hatred, pride, envy, jealousy, and conceit won’t invade the minds of men. The divine possessions of people, like dharma, mercy, truth, love, knowledge, and wisdom, will be safe from harm.

What are the prerequisites to achieve pure devotion? Bhagawan lovingly describes it in a memorable way for us today.

For treading the path of devotion, one needs no scholarship, nor wealth nor riches, nor ascetic rigours. Tell Me, what was the lineage of Valmiki, the wealth of Kuchela, the scholarship of Sabari, the age of Prahlada, the status of Gajaraja, and the attainments of Vidura? Pure Love (Prema) — that was all they had, and that was all they needed. The grace of the Lord is as the ocean - vast and limitless. By your spiritual disciplines, your repetition of a name of God, meditation, and systematic cultivation of virtue, this grace is converted into clouds of truth. This cloud rains on humanity as showers of prema, which collect and flow as the flood of bliss (ananda) back again into the ocean of the Lord’s grace. When prema embraces humanity, we call it compassion, the quality not of pity but of sympathy — sympathy that makes one happy when others are happy and miserable when others are unhappy.

Why must we obey the Guru even when the instructions are unpleasant and difficult? Bhagawan gives us a few precious pearls today.

The ministers of Ravana spoke only what was pleasing to him; they were afraid and so, they proved dangerous counsellors. His brother Vibheeshana alone gave him the beneficial drug which would have cured him; but since it was not priya or pleasing, Ravana rejected it and fell into perdition. This is the message I bring - the Message that will confer strength, peace, hope and fulfilment. This message surely is hitha (beneficial), though it may not be priya (pleasing). A patient must take drugs and put himself through regimen that is beneficial; one cannot ask for only sweet medicines and comfortable regimen which please them. The doctor knows best and must be obeyed for the sake of recovery. The Vedas and scriptures are the greatest repositories of hitha, as they were won by penance and travail by sages and seers who were interested only in the welfare of humanity and the liberation of man.

What is a sure sign of spiritual progress? Bhagawan lovingly gives us a barometer to measure our progress and also tips to tread the path successfully.

Do not engage yourself in the cultivation of or the promotion of wants and desires. That is a never ending process of sowing and reaping; you will never reach contentment and one desire when satisfied, will fan the thirst for ten more. Do not run after devious desires or crooked satisfactions. All roads leading to the realm of the senses are tortuous and blind, only the road that leads to the path of the Lord is straight. Cultivate righteousness in every action, that will reveal the Divine Self. Straightforwardness will enable you to overcome the three gunas (qualities). No single Guna should dominate; all must be tamed to fill the lake of bliss. It is your internal bliss that matters, not the external, the sensory, the objective and the worldly. If the inner poise or inner equilibrium is undisturbed by external ups and downs, that is a sure sign of spiritual success.

* கடவுளை பூரணமாக நம்பினால் உணவு, உடை, ஆரோக்கியம் என குறைவின்றி மனம் நிறைந்த வாழ்வு கிடைக்கும்.

* உண்மை எது, உண்மையற்றது எது என்பதை கண்டறிந்து செயல்படுவதன் இன்னொரு பெயரே விவேகம்.

* பிறருடைய துன்பம் கண்டு இன்பம் கொள்வது பாவம். மறந்தும் கூட இதை எண்ண வேண்டாம்.

* பணம் இல்லாமல் உலகில் வாழவே முடியாது. ஆனால் பணத்திற்கு அடிமையாகி கஞ்சனாக கூடாது.

* மனதை தூய்மை மிக்கதாக வைத்திருப்பவனே நிம்மதியாக வாழ முடியும்.

Why should we integrate Divinity in our daily living? What is the benefit? How will the experience be? Bhagawan lovingly gives us a profound message today.

When you become conscious of the light, acquire wisdom and realise the meaning of existence, you will be transported from agony to ecstasy. Light here does not signify the light of the Sun, the Moon or the lamp, but that of the heart. Wisdom does not refer to scientific wisdom, but enlightenment brought about by the transformation of the heart. What about existence? Awareness of your own true reality is the proper meaning of existence. The awareness of your reality lies in the realisation that you are not the body, the mind or the senses. True realisation lies in understanding the fact that you are based on a transcendental principle that goes beyond the boundaries of matter. One should earnestly investigate the presence of Divinity in human life. Awareness of one’s own duty is tantamount to the awareness of Divinity in human life.
