* கடவுள் இரண்டு கைகளைக் கொடுத்ததன் நோக்கம், நம்மால் முடிந்த உதவியை செய்வதற்காகவே.

* மாணவன் கல்வியை பணிவுடன் கற்க வேண்டும். பணிவு இல்லாத கல்வியால் உலகிற்கு பயன் உண்டாகாது.

* ஆணும் பெண்ணும் குடும்பமாக இணைந்து வாழ்வதே சிறந்த வாழ்க்கை.

* ஊர் வாயை மூடும் உலை மூடி ஒன்று இருக்கிறது. அதன் பெயர் தான் காலம்.

* நீதிவழியில் மக்களை வாழச் செய்யும் கடமை அரசாங்கத்திற்கு இருக்கிறது.

* வெற்றியிலும், தோல்வியிலும் சமநிலை இழக்காமல் மன உறுதியுடன் வாழ வேண்டும்.

* கருணையே இனிமையான சொர்க்கம். நாம் அனைவரும் கருணை நிறைந்தவர் களாக மாற வேண்டும்.

* எந்த மனிதன் தன்னை வெறுக்கிறானோ அவனுக்கு அழிவின் வாசல் திறக்கும்.

* அறிவோடு ஒரு செயலை செய்யும் போது தான் பிழை இல்லாமல் இருக்கும். இதை ஆன்மிகம் மட்டுமல்ல, அறிவியலும் ஒப்புக்கொள்கிறது.

* கோபத்தில் இருக்கும் போது மனிதனால் வேலை களைச் சிறப்பாகச் செய்ய முடிவதில்லை.

* சுதந்திரம் இல்லாத எதுவும் வளர்ச்சி அடைவதில்லை. சுதந்திரமே வளர்ச்சிக்கான ஆணிவேர்.

பக்குவமாக பேசுங்கள்...................... தினமும் வீட்டில் குடும்பத்தினர் அனைவரும் ஒன்று சேர்ந்து வழிபாடு நடத்த வேண்டும். இதற்காக பத்து நிமிடம் ஒதுக்கினால் போதும்...............

* பிறருக்கு நல்லதைச் சொன்னால் மட்டும் போதாது. அதை அவர்கள் ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளும் விதத்தில் பக்குவமாகவும் சொல்ல வேண்டும்.

* எண்ணம், சொல் இரண்டும் முரண்படக் கூடாது. வாக்கும், மனமும் ஒன்றாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.

* கடவுளுக்கு நன்றி சொல்லிய பிறகே சாப்பிட வேண்டும். இதன் மூலம் உணவு பிரசாதமாகி விடும்.

* பிறரது குறைகளை பெரிதுபடுத்தாமல், அவர்களிடம் உள்ள நல்ல அம்சங்களை பார்க்கப் பழக வேண்டும்.

* விருப்பும், வெறுப்பும் மனிதனை பாவச் செயல்களில் தள்ளி விடும் அபாயம் கொண்டவை.

* தினமும் வீட்டில் குடும்பத்தினர் அனைவரும் ஒன்று சேர்ந்து வழிபாடு நடத்த வேண்டும். இதற்காக பத்து நிமிடம் ஒதுக்கினால் போதும்.

* புகழுக்காக எந்த செயலிலும் ஈடுபடுவது கூடாது. புகழை விரும்பும் மனிதன் அகங்காரத்திற்கு ஆளாக நேரிடும்.

* நல்ல செயல்களைத் தர்மம் என குறிப்பிட்டாலும், பிறருக்கு கொடுத்து உதவுவதையே தர்மம் என சிறப்பாகச் சொல்கிறோம்.

* தர்மத்தை தமிழில் 'அறம்' என்று சொல்வர். ஆத்திச் சூடியில் 'அறம் செய விரும்பு' என்பது தான் முதலிடம் வகிக்கிறது.

What is prayer and how should we pray? Bhagawan lovingly enlightens us today.

We speak often about prayer. Prayer does not mean petitioning God. Prayer is an index of the experience of Atmic bliss. It is a method to share this bliss, spreading it all around, and being immersed in that bliss. Prayer must come from the heart. Prayer that is not heartfelt is utterly useless. The Lord will accept a heart without words. But He will not accept words and prayers that do not come from the heart. This is why God is described as Hridayesa (the Lord of the Heart). It is only when you have faith in this, that you will be able to manifest your Divinity. God is inside you, outside you, and around you. Recognise this truth and live according to it. So long as you are filled with doubts, you will not experience peace or happiness.

What is the call to action from Bhagawan to us today? Let us listen to Bhagawan in His own nectarous words!

As you claim to be Sai devotees, should you not strictly adhere to the path shown by Swami and make everyone happy? When you follow My footsteps, you will certainly achieve sacred results and earn a good name. Being Sai devotees, give up selfishness and dedicate your lives for the welfare of the society. Sage Vyasa has given the essence of eighteen puranas (scriptures) in two sentences, “Paropakaraya punyaya, papaya para peedanam” (you attain merit by serving others and commit sin by hurting them). This is the main principle of Bharatiya culture. When you help others, you will receive help tenfold. If you harm others, you will be put to harm ten times more. Fill your lives with love. Stop criticizing others. Respect even those who hate you. Hatred is a bad quality. It will ruin you. Hence, get rid of this evil. Love everyone. Help the poor and the needy to the extent possible.

Why is the practice of righteousness in daily living supremely important to a true devotee? Bhagawan underscores its importance and the benefits to the spiritual seeker.

It is indeed a pity that people are choosing not to eat the most nourishing fruit from the garden of Nature. People are climbing the wrong tree and seeking to pluck the wrong fruits, so their appetite is ruined, their taste is vulgarised and their health is destroyed. Only the glory of the Lord can satisfy the hunger of a person, for that person is part of that glory. You can win the Grace of the Lord only by practising righteousness. Righteousness naturally induces the spirit of self-surrender and assiduously cultivates it. With the training that the practice of right conduct (dharma) gives to your senses, your feelings and emotions, you can have steady faith and steady detachment. The Lord is Dharma conceived as a personality. Lord Rama indeed was known as ‘Vigrahavan Dharma’, Righteousness Personified. If you step outside the bounds of righteousness and play foul, you will never win the game of life!

How can we experience divinity in daily living? What is the one key quality that will help us get there? Bhagawan explains to us today.

True learning is like an X-ray camera, which lays bare the innermost details with perfect fidelity. Our mind should be like an X-ray with Love as the film, such that it captures the entire personality of a being with accuracy. An X-ray machine without film is of no use, as nothing can be captured then. Love must be abiding and eternal. But today the love of people is transient and ephemeral, and may expire at any time. It is not at all worthy of being called Love. True Love endures trial and turbulence, loss, and pain, and transcends every trying circumstance. Never forget God under any circumstance, however difficult it might be. Our Love for God should survive every onslaught, and resist all the ravages of time and the vicissitudes of life. Our Love should not change and float with every passing wind. The lives of great devotees demonstrate to us how firm and strong our devotion should be.
