Sai Baba said.

"If a man utters My name with love, I shall fulfill all his wishes, increase his devotion. And if he sings earnestly My life and My deeds, him I shall beset in front and back and on all sides. Those devotees, who are attached to Me, heart and soul, will naturally feel happiness, when they hear these stories. Believe Me that if anybody sings My Leelas, I will give him infinite joy and everlasting contentment. It is My special characteristic to free any person, who surrenders completely to Me, and who does worship Me faithfully, and who remembers Me, and meditates on Me constantly. How can they be conscious of worldly objects and sensations, who utter My name, who worship Me, who think of My stories and My life and who thus always remember Me? I shall draw out My devotees from the jaws of Death. If My stories are listened to, all the diseases will be got rid of. So, hear My stories with respect; and think and meditate on them, assimilate them. This is the way of happiness and contentment. The pride and egoism of My devotees will vanish, the mind of the hearers will be set at rest; and if it has wholehearted and complete faith, it will be one with Supreme Consciousness. The simple remembrance of My name as ‘Sai, Sai’ will do away with sins of speech and hearing".

''என்னுடைய கீர்த்தனங்களைப் பாடுபவனுக்கு பூரணமான பரமானந்தத்தையும் சாந்தியையும் திருப்தியையும் நான் அருள் செய்வேன். இது ஸத்தியமான வார்த்தை.- ''வேறெதிலும் பற்றில்லாமல் என்னையே சரணடைந்து, முழு விசுவாசத்துடன் என் புகழைப் பாடி, என்னைப்பற்றியே நினைத்துக்கொண்டும் சிந்தித்துக்கொண்டும் இருப்பவனை நான் கடைத்தேற்றுகிறேன் என்பது என் ஸத்தியப் பிரமாணம்.--

அன்புறவுகளே காலை அன்பு வணக்கம்…..நன்மை உண்டாகும்.

Serve Me with love and devotion, and you will get eternal happiness.

ஸ்ரீஹரி நிஜமான பக்தர்களுடன் விளையாடுகிறான்; அவர்களுடைய தாளத்திற்கு ஆடுகிறான்õ பிரேமைக்கு அடிமையாகி கள்ளங்கபடமற்ற எளிமையான பக்தனைத் தேடி அலைகிறான். பாஷாண்டிகளுக்கு (வெளிவேஷம் போடுபவர்களுக்கு) அவன் என்றுமே அகப்படுவதில்லை.

''உன்னுடைய நல்வாழ்வு இதில்தான் இருக்கிறது; எனக்கும் அவதார நோக்கம் நிறைவேறுகிறது. பார்õ இதைத்தான் நான் திரும்பத் திரும்பச் சொல்கிறேன்; இதுவே, என்னுடைய இடைவிடாத மனக்கிலேசமாகவும் இருந்து வருகிறது.--

''சாமா நான் ஒன்று சொல்லுகின்றேன், கேள் யார் என்னுடைய நாமத்தை அன்புடனும் நம்பிக்கையுடனும் ஜபிக்கிறானோ, அவனுக்கு நான், விரும்பியதையெல்லாம் அளிக்கிறேன். இதன் விளைவாக, அவனுக்கு என்மேல் உண்டான பக்தி பெருகுகிறது.-- ''என்னுடைய புகழைப் பாடுபவனும், சரித்திரத்தைச் சுவையாக விவரித்துச் சொல்பவனும், அவர்களுக்கு முன்னும் பின்னும் மற்றும் அவர்களைச் சுற்றிய எல்லா இடங்களிலும் எப்பொழுதும் என்னையே காண்கின்றனர்.--

''ஆத்மார்த்தமாகவும் இதயபூர்வமாகவும் என்னிடம் அன்பு கொண்டவன் இக் கதைகளைக் கேட்டு இயல்பாகவே சந்தோஷமடைவான்.--

''என்னுடைய கீர்த்தனங்களைப் பாடுபவனுக்கு பூரணமான பரமானந்தத்தையும் சாந்தியையும் திருப்தியையும் நான் அருள் செய்வேன். இது ஸத்தியமான வார்த்தை.- ''வேறெதிலும் பற்றில்லாமல் என்னையே சரணடைந்து, முழு விசுவாசத்துடன் என் புகழைப் பாடி, என்னைப்பற்றியே நினைத்துக்கொண்டும் சிந்தித்துக்கொண்டும் இருப்பவனை நான் கடைத்தேற்றுகிறேன் என்பது என் ஸத்தியப் பிரமாணம்.--

16 ''எங்கு என் நாமமும் பக்தியும் லீலைகள்பற்றிய ஏடுகளும் புராணமும் இதயத்தில் குறையாத சிந்தனையும் இருக்கின்றனவோ, அங்கு எப்படிப் புலனின்ப நாட்டம் தலைகாட்ட முடியும்?--

17 ''என்னுடைய கதைகளை மாத்திரம் கேட்டால்கூடப் போதும், வியாதிகள் நிவாரணம் செய்யப்படும்; என்னுடைய நிஜமான பக்தனை நான் மரணத்தின் பிடியி-ருந்தும் விடுவிப்பேன்.--

18 ''பக்தியுடன் இக் கதைகளைச் செவிமடுங்கள்; கேட்ட பிறகு அவற்றை ஆழமாக மனத்துள் பிரதிப¬யுங்கள்; பிரதிப¬த்தபின் தியானம் செய்யுங்கள்; உன்னதமான திருப்தியைப் பெறுவீர்கள்.--

19 ''நான் எனும் பிரக்ஞை மறைந்து, 'நானே அவன் (இறைவன்)ஃ என்னும் உணர்வு உதயமாகும். வேறெதிலும் பற்றில்லாத பரிபூரணமான சிரத்தையால், சித்தம் தெய்வீக சக்திகளால் நிறைந்து கனக்கும்.--

20 ''ஸாயீ ஸாயீ என்ற நாமஸ்மரணம் க¬யுகத்தின் மலங்களை எரிக்கும். பேச்சினாலும் கேள்வியினாலும் விளைந்த பாவங்கள் என் முன்பாகச் செய்யப்படும் ஒரே

Sai Baba’s Sanction and Promise

As described in the previous chapter, Sai Baba gave His complete assent to the writing of the Sat-Charita and said, "I fully agree with you regarding the writing of Sat Charita. You do your duty, don’t be afraid in the least, steady your mind and have faith in My words. If my Leelas are written, the Avidya (nescience) will vanish and if they are attentively, and devoutly listened to, the consciousness of the worldly existence will abate, and strong waves of devotion, and love will rise up and if one dives deep into My Leelas, he would get precious jewels of knowledge."

Hearing this, author was much pleased, and he at once became fearless and confident, and thought that work was bound to be a success. Then turning to Shama (Madhavrao Deshpande)
