*எளிமையாக வாழ்ந்தால் மனநிம்மதியுடன் வாழலாம். மிஞ்சும் பணத்தை தானம் செய்யுங்கள்.

*நல்லவர் நட்பு, மாலை நிழல் போல வளரும். தீயவர் நட்பு, உச்சிவேளை நிழல் போல சுருங்கி விடும்.

கடவுளை அடைவது எப்படி?

* நல்ல எண்ணங்களை வளருங்கள்.நல்ல வார்த்தைகளை பேசுங்கள். பிறருக்கு உதவுங்கள். கடவுளை அடையலாம்.

* ஆசைக்கு ஓர் உச்ச வரம்பை வைத்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள். வாழ்க்யில் மலர்ச்சியும், முன்னேற்றமும் தானாக வரும்

* அன்பெனும் உன்னத உணர்வு ஆன்மிக உணர்வை அளிக்கும். ஒற்றுமையே உயர்வை கொடுக்கும்.

* அன்பில் பிறக்கும் பொறுப்புணர்வால் வாழ்வில் தெய்வீகம் உண்டாகும்.

* வைகுண்டத்திலிருந்து இறங்கி வந்த மகாவிஷ்ணு கிருஷ்ணராக அவதரித்தார். "எப்போதெல்லாம் தர்மம் சீர்குலைகிறதோ அப்போதெல்லாம் யுகந்தோறும் நான் அவதரிப்பேன்' என்று கிருஷ்ணரே அர்ஜுனனுக்கு உபதேசம் செய்யும்போது பகவத்கீதையில் வாக்களித்திருக்கிறார்.

* அறியப்படாத உன்னத கடவுளாகவும், எஜமானராகவும், நண்பனாகவும், சிறுகுழந்தையாகவும், காதலனாகவும், தாயாகவும், தந்தையாகவும் நமக்கு விருப்பமான முறையில் எப்படிப்பட்ட உறவுநிலையிலும் பக்தி செலுத்தி கிருஷ்ணரை அடையலாம்.

* கிருஷ்ணலீலையைக் கேட்டால் பசி, தாகம் போன்ற உலகியல் விஷயங்கள் நமக்கு தோன்றாது. மதுரமான கிருஷ்ணநாமத்தைக் கேட்பவன் புண்ணிய உலகைச் சென்றடைவது உறுதி.

* புல்லாங்குழல் இசைக்கும்போது கிருஷ்ணருடைய கண்கள் தாமரை மலர் போல மலர்ந்துள்ளன. வசீகரமான மயில் இறகு தலையில் அசைய கோடி மன்மதர்கள் ஒன்று சேர்ந்ததுபோல நம் உள்ளத்தை மயக்குகிறார். கார்மேகம் போன்ற நீலநிறமுடைய அவர், நமக்கு மழை போல் அருளை வாரி வழங்குகிறார்.

Why should we persist in our spiritual path even when we face repeated failures in our endeavour to transform ourselves? Bhagawan explains and inspires us today.

Twenty hammer strokes might not succeed in breaking a stone, but the twenty-first stroke might break it. Does that mean that twenty blows were of no avail? No! Each contributed its share to the final success; the last result was the cumulative effect! So too, the mind is engaged in a struggle with the world, both internal and external. Needless to say, success might not always be your lot. You’ll certainly attain everlasting bliss by immersing in good works and saturating your mind with love for God. Infuse every moment of life with love. Then, evil tendencies will not hamper your path. If your mind always dwells with the Lord, you will be drawn towards good deeds. The objective of all spiritual practice is destruction of the mind, and some day, one good deed will succeed in destroying it, like the twenty-first blow! All good deeds done in the past contribute to this triumph; no noble deed is unworthy, every little act counts!

Often, consciously or unconsciously, we are guilty of wasting life’s precious resources. Today, Bhagawan lovingly pulls us upward and onward with a powerful message.

All of you are wasting time. Time is God. God is described as, Kala kalaya namah - He is the Master of Time. Therefore you should not waste time on unnecessary activities. For example, excessive talk is a waste of time. When you switch on the radio and listen to all unnecessary programmes, electricity is wasted. The body is like a radio receiver. Chanting the Lord’s name and singing the glory of God will capture signals of grace. But when you indulge in unnecessary gossip, you waste precious time and energy. When you do wicked or inappropriate deeds, again you waste energy and incur dangerous consequences too. Sanctify your life by adhering to the twin ideals of Truth and Righteousness (Sathya and Dharma). Instead of preaching them, put them into practice. Propagation is 'quantity' while practicing is 'quality'. Quality is always very important. A spoon of cow's milk is much better than a barrel of donkey's milk.

How to ensure that the service we partake in is a sadhana or spiritual exercise? Bhagawan lovingly delineates for us today.

People are not aware that time sanctified by service offers high rewards to themselves as well as to those whom they serve. All acts of service are not equally sanctifying or uniform in the benefits they confer. When service is undertaken by power-hungry people, or under compulsion or by imitative urges, it results in more harm than good. Self-aggrandizement or competition or ostentation are motives that will pollute the sacred Sadhana of Service. The candidate for this spiritual activity has to avoid ahamkara (egoism), adambara (exhibitionism) and abhimana (favouritism). Before embarking on a service project one must introspect and examine if the heart is full of selfless love, humility and compassion; whether one’s head has the intelligent understanding and knowledge of the problem and its solution; whether the hands are eager to offer the healing touch, and whether one can gladly spare and share time, energy and skill to help others in dire need.

குறிக்கோளுடன் வாழுங்கள்.........................

* குறிக்கோள் இல்லாத வாழ்வு பரிதாபமானது. மனிதன் பயனுள்ள குறிக்கோளுக்காக வாழ வேண்டும்.

* குறிக்கோளின் தன்மையைப் பொறுத்து வாழ்க்கை முறையை மாற்றி அமைத்துக் கொள்வது அவசியம்.

* தியானத்தை அன்றாட கடமையாக ஏற்றுக் கொள். தெய்வீக சக்தியை அதன் மூலம் அடைய முடியும்.

* ஆன்மிகம் என்பது வாழ்வைத் துறந்து விடுவது அல்ல. வாழ்வை முழுமையாக்கும் முயற்சியேயாகும்.

* முயற்சி ஒருபோதும் வீணாவதில்லை. அதற்குரிய பலன் ஒருநாள் நிச்சயம் கிடைத்தே தீரும்.

Why should we give very high importance to subduing our senses? Bhagawan lovingly explains to us the secret.

Really speaking, this world has to serve only the purpose of sustaining the body. Those aspiring for liberation have to subdue the senses. “Food for guarding the body, dress to ward off the cold,” states the Uttara Gita (the Gita Krishna imparts to Arjuna after the Kurukshetra war). However, if one gets immersed in these pursuits, one forgets the purpose for which one has come and the goal of all activity and holy endeavour. Instead whatever activity a person may be engaged in, the person must, as automatically as breathing, be contemplating on and always aware of this: “I am born to serve God and to realize my true self.” All acts — wearing, eating, walking, studying, serving, moving — should be performed in the belief that they take one into the Presence of the Lord. Every act must be done in a spirit of dedication to the Lord.
