இந்த வழியைக் கைவிடு.....................

*தன்னையும் பிறரையும் துன்புறுத்துபவனாக மனிதன் மட்டும் மாறி விட்டான். இயற்கைக்கு முரணான இந்த வழியை கைவிடு.

*உலகிலுள்ள எல்லா உயிர்களும் கடவுளின் படைப்பே. ஏதோ ஒரு முக்கிய நோக்கத்திற்காகவே ஒவ்வொன்றும் படைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

* விஞ்ஞான சக்தி அப்பாற்பட்டதாக உயிர்களின் உடல் அமைப்பும், வாழ்க்கை முறையும் அமைந்திருக்கிறது.

*பூமியில் அவதரிக்கும் மகான்கள் மனிதனை மனிதனாக்கும் முயற்சியில் ஈடுபட்டு வருகின்றனர்.

எல்லோர்க்கும் அன்பான வணக்கம்..............................

* மனிதனாகப் பிறக்க பாக்கியம் செய்திருக்கிறோம். வாழும் காலத்திற்குள், சாதிக்கும் விதத்தில் நல்ல அறிகுறியை விட்டுச் செல்வோம்.

* வாழ்வில் வளர்ச்சி பெற அக்கறையுடன் செயல்படுவது அவசியம். அக்கறையின்மை மனிதனை பலவீனப்படுத்தி தாழ்வடையச் செய்யும்.

* ஆன்மிக வாழ்க்கை சோறு போன்றது. செல்வம், புகழ் போன்ற மற்றவை கறி, கூட்டு போல அதற்கு துணை செய்கின்றன.

* பரந்த நோக்கத்துடன் விரிந்து செல்வதே வாழ்க்கை. சுயநலத்துடன் குறுகிக் கொண்டிருப்பதை மரணம் என்றே சொல்ல வேண்டும்.

* கடவுளின் திருவுள்ளப்படியே உலகம் இயங்குகிறது. அதனால், கடவுளைப் பூரணமாக நம்பிச் சரணடையுங்கள்.

* கால வெள்ளத்தில் வரும் புதிய மாறுதல்களை எல்லாம் தனதாக்கிக் கொண்டு வாழப் பழக வேண்டும்.

* நல்லறிவு, குறைவில்லாத செல்வம், மனத்துணிவு மூன்றும் இருந்தால் எல்லா இன்பமும் உண்டாகும்.

* துன்பம் நேரும் சமயத்தில் அதைக் கண்டு சிரிக்கப் பழகுங்கள். அதுவே அத்துன்பத்தை வெட்டும் வாளாகி விடும்.

* தெய்வத்தை கும்பிட்டாலும், கும்பிடாவிட்டாலும் யாரையும் ஏமாற்றாமல் வாழ்ந்தாலே போதும். தெய்வத்தின் அருள் உண்டாகும்.

மனதைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தும்....................

தியானத்தில் ஈடுபடுவோரின் மனநிலையைப் பொறுத்தே நம் மனம் ஒருநிலைப்படும். கூடிய வரை நன்கு ஓய்வு எடுத்த நிலையில் மனம் தெளிவாக இருக்கும். அந்நிலையில் தியானத்தில் அமர்வது நல்லது.

அதனாலேயே தியானம் செய்ய அதிகாலைப் பொழுதே நல்லது என்று கருதுகிறார்கள். யோகப்பயிற்சியில் நல்ல அனுபவம் வாய்ந்த நிபுணரிடம் கற்றுக் கொண்டு, மூச்சைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தும் பயிற்சிகளைப் பழகியவர்கள் தியானம் செய்யத் தொடங்கும் போது மிக விரைவில் மனதைக் கட்டுப்படுத்தலாம்.

ஒருமுகப்பட்ட மனம் தியானத்தில் லயிக்க ஆரம்பிக்கும். நம்முடைய சிந்தனையில் இருக்கும் அனுபவங்கள் யாவும் தியானத்தின் போது உருவெடுத்து எண்ணத்தில் தோன்ற ஆரம்பிக்கும். தொடர்ந்து தியானத்தை விடாது பழகும் போது தான் இந்த எண்ணங்கள் மறையத் தொடங்கும். பின்னர் தியானம் செய்ய அமர்ந்த சிறிது நேரத்திலே நம் மனம் ஒருமுகப்படுவதை உணரலாம்.

தியானத்தில் நாம் சாட்சியாக மட்டுமே இருந்து நம் எண்ணங்களை கவனிக்க வேண்டும். அப்படி கவனிக்கப் பழகும் போது நாம் அந்த எண்ணங்களில் ஆழ்ந்து விடாமல் படிப்படியாக விலகி நிற்க முடியும். நாளும் கடமையாக தியானம் பயில்பவனால் எண்ணங்களைக் கடந்து மனதைக் கட்டுப்படுத்த முடியும்.

What should we pay attention to and do in our daily living? Let us listen to Bhagawan’s loving guidance today.

Always keep death, which is inevitable, before the eye of memory and engage yourself in the journey of life with good wishes for all, with strict adherence to truth, seeking always the company of the good, and with the mind always fixed on the Lord. Live, avoid evil deeds and hateful and harmful thoughts, and don’t get attached to the world. If you live thus, your last moment will be pure, sweet, and blessed. Disciplined striving throughout life is needed to ensure this consummation. The mind has to be turned over to good mental tendencies (samskaras). Everyone must examine themselves rigorously, spot defects, and struggle to correct them. When people uncover and realise their own defects, it is like being reborn. People then start anew, from a new childhood. This is the genuine moment of awakening.

Is charity only giving away huge sums of money? Do we need to practice restraint even in doing charity? Bhagawan underscores today, the importance of ‘balance’ in our daily life!

Life itself is like a limited company. All actions in it should be governed by the limits applicable to each of them. When desires are controlled, genuine happiness is experienced. Even in practising charity, limits should be observed. Your gifts should not exceed your financial capacity. Nor should they be below your capacity. If you exceed your limits, you will face financial problems later. If you are stingy, you will be withholding from those in need, what is due to them. Always remember, charity should not be limited to money alone and charity should not be indiscriminate. You must share your physical, mental and spiritual resources with those in need in your community, appropriately. Help spontaneously, according to the needs of the situation. The hungry must be fed and, clothes and relief must be given to the needy. It is through such sharing and sacrifice that the awareness of the Spirit (Atma jnana) is achieved.

Why should you practice the attitude of being loving every minute? Bhagawan gives us a precious pearl in His own sweet words today.

Any work done in this world with the attitude of love will be an achievement. The heart in which there is no love is certain to be the paradise of wickedness. Whatever you do, do it with love. The Gopikas prayed,

“Oh Krishna, play Your sweet flute and sow the seeds of love in the desert of loveless hearts. Let the rain of love fall on earth and make the rivers of love flow continuously.” Therefore, start the day with love, spend the day with love, fill the day with love, and end the day with love - this is the way to God.

You read such sacred and inspiring quotes every day, and see them on the boards, but are they getting imprinted in your hearts? Can your hunger be relieved, by just reading the names of many different sweets? So also, by merely reading sacred quotes or by listening to it will not purify your mind. Practice and experience the results!

Can the ultimate knowledge or Brahma Jnana be achieved through the path of devotion? Bhagawan beautifully explains the the final lap of the journey of a devotee.

Even when you attain the state of living with God and merger in a divine form (sarupya-mukti), there is still a trace of differential feeling. Just because a devotee has a form like the Lord’s, one may not have the powers of creation, preservation, and destruction that the Lord has. Only when all trace of difference disappears and unity is attained, the highest stage is reached. This is real union (Sayujya). This comes of divine grace won by the essence of the spiritual practice of each; it cannot be claimed as the fruit of effort. The devotee wishes to serve the Lord as one pleases and to experience the joy of the form that one has attributed to the Lord. But the Lord, out of His grace, gives the devotee not only existence with the Lord, witnessing always the glory of the Lord, and being suffused with God-consciousness but also Sayujya - union with Him! The path of devotion results also in attainment of ultimate knowledge (Brahma-jnana). Even if the devotee does not crave it, the Lord Himself vouchsafes it to the devotee.
