அடுத்தவரை மகிழ்விப்பதில் ஆனந்தம் அடையுங்கள் ஆனால் இன்று என்ன நடக்கிறது எங்கும் சுயநலம், எதிலும் சுயநலம், அடுத்தவன் வளர்ச்சியில் பொறாமை கொண்டு அவனை விழுத்த குழி தோண்டும் ஈனச் செயலில் பேராசை என்னும் மாயப் பேயின் கையில் அகப்பட்டு பணம் பொருள் என்னும் பற்று மிகுதியால் தனக்குத் தானே குழி வெட்டுகிறான்.

அவனே அதனில் விழுவான் இப் பிறவி தப்பினும் அடுத்த பிறப்பில் ஆக சுயநலப் பேய் எம்முடன் இருக்கும் வரை தெய்வீகம் என்னும் எம் ஆத்ம ஆன்ந்தம் கிட்டாது,

ஆக எம் சுயநலமென்னும் தீய குணத்தை அடியோடு பிடுங்கி எறிவோம் அடுத்தவரின் மகிழ்வில் நாம் மகிழ்வோம்...பேரானந்தம் எமக்கே சொந்தம்.

What is happening today is excessive growth of egoism and attachment among the people. As long as egoism exists, experience of divinity is impossible. Egoism and envy have to be totally uprooted. Those who cannot bear to see others happy have nothing good in store for them. It is in deriving joy from the happiness of others that pure devotion manifests itself. We have to preserve and promote what is beneficial in our hoary culture, while adapting the ancient traditions to contemporary conditions. This is one of the primary obligations of Sai Institutions.
